Carillonkonzert mit Gerald Martindale (Canada)

Gerald Martindale  wurde 1997 zum Glockenspieler der historischen Metropolitan United Church von Toronto ernannt und ging 2016 von dieser Position in den Ruhestand. Seitdem spielt er regelmäßig das Glockenspiel am Exhibition Place. Er studierte Glockenspiel bei Dr. Sydney Shep, dem ehemaligen Glockenspielspieler der Universität von Toronto. Er erwarb einen Bachelor of Musical Arts an der Universität von Windsor und besitzt Associate Diplomas in Orgel vom Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto und dem Royal Canadian College of Organists. Herr Martindale singt in zwei Gemeindechören und spielt Klarinette in einer Blaskapelle. Derzeit ist er als Tenor-Sub- und Aushilfsorganist beschäftigt. In den letzten 25 Jahren war er als Statist tätig und wirkte in 363 Film- und Fernsehproduktionen mit. Er hat 20 Glockenspielkonzerttourneen durch die Vereinigten Staaten und 10 Tourneen durch Europa absolviert.
